My first pencil sketch to ease the brain cramps from trying to draw space ships. It was mostly to get some practice in drawing faces, getting the proportions right, and then making the face have character instead of looking emotionally flat as is my tendency.

I have learned that if you can get the eyes to look alive, everything else tends to fall into place better ...
